Overview
The Narrative Concept Art Design Class is focused on teaching you how to make better design decisions when creating concept art for games and films. In the class we will look at creating interesting environments and presenting them through outstanding keyshots, and we will learn how story can help inform our design and speed up our design process.

This class is taught by William Bang

This class is focused on design and storytelling, not on learning the basics of the tools we use.
The main tools we will use are Photoshop and Blender

The Structure
The first half of the class is dedicated to building a solid design workflow for environments. This involves making a story, creating thumbnails, building 3D assets, cinematography, and rendering final key shots. We will build a solid design workflow by designing a classical environment and use it to understand how to improve your overall design and output.
The second half of the class will be focused on creating your own environments, building on the design workflow from the first half, by heavily designing into storytelling advanced design techniques.

Live Lessons
All students will get access to a discord server, which is where the live class will be held. All lessons will be recorded for students' future use.There will be one lesson a week (for a total of 8 lessons) and will feature feedback, live demos, feedback, over-paints and will be 1-3 hours long each. Each lesson will be held Monday at 18:00 (GMT+2)

Pre-Requirements
- Intermediate understanding of Blender
- Intermediate understanding of Photoshop or similar program
- Basic understanding of art and digital painting
- The ability to communicate in English.
- A portfolio of your work (Large or small)
- A Discord account

A good foundation for this course would be the course Blender Beginners For Concept Art
